Join a museum staff member through our exhibits to better understand Ketchikan’s unique past. Tours will be 1 hour, with an opportunity to ask questions and hear authentic stories from trained tour guides. Visitors will also be given an opportunity to explore the exhibits on their own. This tour will meet at the Tongass Historical Museum, located at 629 Dock Street, Ketchikan, AK 99901. The tour will begin promptly at 11 AM. Due to website constraints, only one ticket can be purchased per transaction. For people buying multiple tickets, you must do a new transaction for each one.

On this 1-hour tour, visitors will join a staff member to hear more about totem pole care and restoration in a private tour of the Center’s lower level in addition to learning more about the Totem Heritage Center’s displayed poles. Visitors will also have opportunities to view poles up close, have a hands-on experience with our education collection, and explore the other galleries on their own. This tour will meet at the Totem Heritage Center, located at 601 Deermount Street, Ketchikan, AK 99901. The tour will begin promptly at 9 AM.
